TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint) pain

If you have opened this page, it means that you know what TMJ stands for and are troubled by this condition. Debbie Cameron Physiotherapy is here to help as we understand the frustration that you are going through. TMJ requires specialised physiotherapy training because a technique is needed that involves mobilising your head on your first vertebrae.

With the head, neck, and jaw being vulnerable areas of the body, you will be asked to sign a special consent form for this technique. However, this technique is not compulsory, and we will not perform it without your consent.

Please read our blog on the TMJ condition for more clarity on the injury and the treatment.
